I love everyone too! (altho I don’t think anyone that was there reads my new blog)

2 years ago today I was sitting outside of the Mohawk Place in the freezing cold, with piles of blankets, food, and other overly dedicated people, waiting for 7 o’clock PM to roll around. We looked like homeless bums, but we didn’t care. We were hoping to experience a day that was going to go down in history, which is what only the most devoted fans in the world would get to be a part of… a Fall Out Boy secret show. All die-hard fans would kill to witness one in their lifetime.

Ordering pizzas, making a celebrity Guess Who game, taking silly pictures, making bathroom runs and cuddling together were only few of the things that happened while we were waiting. It was beyond cold outside, and I can still remember what it felt like, but we really didn’t care because we were all together, as one. We never thought the day would come so we embraced it more than complained. By the time we got in, it wasn’t so squished, but once Four Year Strong came on, it got a little more intense. But man, when Fall Out Boy came on… it was insane. I’m pretty sure I almost died. Even saying that, it was still an amazing show. Being able to hear all of these Take This To Your Grave songs that they wouldn’t normally play, and the intensity and closeness of the crowd… it’s indescribable. Got P.Stumps water bottle, too, just sayin’. :) Hahaha. I’m pretty sure I started crying when they said it was their first and last time playing Pros and Cons live. It was truely unbelievable. Afterwards, seeing everyone walk out was so funny. Everyone’s eyeliner was all the way down their face, cake in people’s hair and on their clothes (you wouldn’t understand, hahahaha), sex hair, red faces, and sweatiness. I’ll try to put up some pictures later if I can get to it.

Let me just say that I met so many amazing people that day, and through OCK all together. I really genuinely miss the closeness of everyone, but it seems like people are moving on from the whole fan club thing. Even though we may not be a part of the fan club, we’re still all friends. We keep in touch via Twitter, texting, Facebook, etc. and I’m so thankful for everyone. I know a lot of the Chicago kids all hang out and some live together which is so awesome. It’s amazing how one band can bring together so many people to the point where the friendship is what makes the band so special, sometimes the friendship even moreso. We’re there for each other no matter what. I know this meant a lot more 2 years ago than what it does now, but it’s still amazing to think about. And if you’re reading this and have no idea what I’m talking about, then don’t worry about it. If you are reading this and do know what I’m talking about… then I love you.

One of the best days of my life.
